Thanks to a generous donation from the Tyler Sunrise Rotary Club, the Born to Read program is able to provide the Jim Trelease's Read-Aloud Handbook to every enrolled family in the Born to Read Fall Program 2020-2021. This book is a valuable resource to our parents. According to the opening page of Jim Trelease's Read-Handbook, "In 2010, Penguin Books named The Read-Aloud-Handbook one of the seventy-five most important books it published in its seventy-five-year history." That's quite a statement!

The Born to Read Program is providing a copy of Mem Fox's, Reading Magic, to every enrolled family in the 2021-2022 Born to Read Program. 

This book is a great resource for our families. 

"Reading Magic: How your child can learn to read before school - and other read-aloud miracles is a 2001 book by Mem Fox. In it, Fox propounds reading books aloud to children from when they are babies to after they can read by themselves."
